The World of Toine is a collection of short projects by filmmaker A.J. Riggins to support his feature film screenplay, Look at Toine.
A firm believer that the world and characters we are introduced to in cinema exist before the fade in and after the cut to black, these projects lay the foundation for Look at Toine's characters, themes, location, and story.
STORY ONE

A visual expression set in 1999 that follows Toine's journey through domestic hell. Trapped by his stepfather's mistreatment, Toine struggles with his identity and the desire for his mother's love in his southern hometown of North Carolina.
